在乡下,安静里有鸟儿的歌声;

在城市,安静里有陌生人的谈话。

在山上,安静里有风儿和树枝交叉的时刻;

在房里,安静里有小小的幸福。

琳嘛,琳天天在安静里想念大哥。

所以大哥,你一定要耐心的等琳回来呀。

I feel the need to introduce the modules I've been taking these past eight months.

  • E&P Science (Earth & Planetary System Science). How the processes on Earth can be used to determine the processes happening on other planets.
  • Sedimentary Systems. The processes by which sedimentary systems are formed and determined from the rock records.
  • L&E History (Life & Earth History). How the movement of land masses as well as other factors influence the existance and/or distribution of organisms.
  • Earth Materials. How minerals are associated with volcanism.
  • NRE (Natural Resources & Energy). The mining and use of natural resources.
  • EES (Earth, Environment & Society). How human activities has altered ecosystems and how to explain science to the mass media.
  • Geoinformatics. The use of maps and computers to interpret geological data.
  • Fieldwork. Application of geological skill to interpret a range of information from observation in the field.

I will be lying if I say I didn't enjoy my course at all.

It's time to forget about the past
To wash away what happened last

E&P Science exam today. Walked in all nervous, walked out triumph!

Well, maybe not really. I lost 8 marks because I conviniently forgot the formulae I went over like 30 times last night :(

The exam was at All Nations Centre, which is 2+ miles away from halls. Eqah and I took a taxi there. 10 minutes' driving = 1 hour walk back. It was fun walking back. We met Toby and hugged him for not coming out of E&P scarred (and also because we miss our cheerful ginger boy!).

A quiet desperation's building higher
I've got to remember this is just a game

I knew meteorites will come out. Somehow it coming out (and the first question too!) makes me so happy I nearly yelped. Also, I've never drawn so many diagrams during an exam in my life. Not even in Geography during A levels. Quite interesting.

Angel sat in front of me during the exams. She smiled at me when taking her seat. Her smile somehow soothed my nerves. Thanks be to God, she really has a heart of gold. I hope she will obtain good results.

Try to let go of the truth
The battles of your youth

Kiren's advice calmed me down when my heart was all panicky swirls. I had just sent my thanks to her. Thanks be to God for introducing such a good friend into my life.

Lie awake in bed at night
And think about your life

Praise be to God, it has been a good day.
