So I went to visit Ili on Friday and Qays on Saturday and I just got back so exhausted physically and emotionally FML
Haven't seen Ili since last year and haven't seen Qays properly for nearly two years FML. Thank god we still get along I mean with Qays cos obviously I still get along with Ili. Miss her so damn much a day wasn't enough I want to catch up with her more but I also don't want to pry into her love life FML I kept talking about Farhan also I'm such a bad friend ==
I asked Qays about the crap book and he said it still exist which is all dandy and good and I want to read it. I forgot what I wrote in there nearly three years ago I hope I wrote nothing embarrassing oh god oh god. We also talked about a ton of different things mainly Zudin's innocence and his relationship status and Qays was like I will coach Zudin and made him irresistable to women. I can't imagine that happening...Zudin used to be so cute when he was plump WTF I have dysfunct taste in guys in my opinion anyway.
Also the embarrassing sleeping arrangement I won't go into details but I ended up winning the pillows WTF don't think dirty thoughts ==
I also miss hanging around Malay guys which is like something I had noticed since forever I need more male company my age when I go back to Brunei or I swear I will turn lesbian FML so I guess I was happier hanging around Qays than Ili which is fucked up, kinda.
Qays also now know I am obsessed with checking my mobile phone for text messages FML I die I die I die ==
OK I will stop babbling like a crazy person and talk about how different/similar the halls Yisan/Ili/Qays is staying in.
Yisan has a big room with medium-thin walls meaning still can hear slamming doors but not so much. Her room reminds me of the room I stayed in back in my A levels days and it's nice la.
Ili also has a big room but not as big as Yisan's and the walls are stone but I'm not sure what kind since it's painted over. Her room is almost sound-proof WTF so nice.
Qays' room is slightly smaller than Ili's but still nice I think nicer than Yisan's and Ili's.
But the most WTF fact is all three of them have big wardrobes and a sink in their room FML I also want a sink NVM ignore me ==
Kent is very peaceful la kinda like a place I want to stay in when I am old. Mad nice what.
OK I'm not making any sense anymore so I better ciao la ==
I'm going on a fieldtrip to Big Pit, a coal mine, tomorrow. So excited!! Can't wait!! We're going to go underground and I will have to wear my ugly field gear. Ellen thinks it will be freezing undeground but from what I learnt it's supposed to get warmer underground but...oh well. Too lazy to argue with her.
Anyway. That aside, I have another thing to be excited about!! Yamin and Zudin is coming over to Cardiff the day after tomorrow and I dunno why I'm so excited!! I might get to hang out with Adibah - not sure as of yet and are you sure you want to bring your niece and his friend to the freezing cold that is Cardiff Bay? REALLY?! It's still winter o____o
I'm gonna sleep early tonight since I need to get up at 7AM tomorrow morning. Email from lecturer said we probably will be back by 4PM. So that'll mean I'll be MIA pretty much the whole day. Which I don't mind. Which makes me a nerd LOL
Will update again after Yamin and Zudin's visit :)
Don’t give up! The future is never fixed and is always uncertain. The only thing that is certain is now, so please be confident in the decisions you made now.
First thing first. This is supposed to be P&C, but if you were born in Brunei, lived (or is living) in Brunei and interacts (-ed) with Bruneians, you will know NOTHING in Brunei stays confidential for long. Rumours spreads around faster than wild fires. If I have to say something about this, I am truly thankful for the scary network that is the Bruneian grapevine, because without it I will only find out about this two weeks plus after the so-called upgrade.
OH EM GEE. I know right. Being an overseas Bruneian can have its cons, e.g. forced to be in a LDR because your significant other just can't be bothered to drag you from the airport before boarding calls, you see.
While an upgrade is all very well and the teaser seem quite plausible (Brunei does desperately need more tourist attractions, like seriously, because even us Bruneians are bored sometimes and need a place to go that is NOT Miri/Limbang/Kuching/Kota Kinabalu - point is not outside the international boundary), it just makes me wonder what the Tourism Board has done this time. Of course the Brunei Tourism website looks quite impressive, but that's shouldn't be the only effort they put in, right?
On another note, Eqah is releasing a new song soon!! Here's the teaser preview from her official YouTube channel:
I don't wanna sound like a bitch, but isn't she wearing pink lipstick on her last digital single cover? Maybe she changed her mind. ANYWAY...
I love If It Isn't With You, mainly because I support Bruneian artists like that. More so because she was in P2F (I definitely have a weakness for P2F contestants with beautiful names. Just ask my friend Pengiran). I even buy it off iTunes for once instead of my usual rip-from-YouTube-video which I have gotten quite skilled at because if you are a poor student who listens to K-Pop or J-rock, it's one thing you must be able to do. Or if you can't, just get someone who can to Bluetooth it over to you. I mean, that's what Bluetooth is for, right?
I forced my non-Asian friend to give If It Isn't With You a listen and she fell in love with it. She was surprised when I told her it's sung by a Bruneian, which made her a racist, just kidding. I mean, BRUNEIANS CAN SING TOO OKAY?
It's coming soon but no date was mentioned. I think she's trying to avoid the "Janji Melayu" trap. Kudos.
