I am sooo bored! So bored to the extent I took this picture (credits to Lucky Star, RealityLapse.com) and decorate the background. I think it look rather professional. What d'you think?
Anyway, I'm going to Purbeck, a 2 hour-drive from my school for a Geography Field Trip. We are going to study the coastal landforms reallly up close. Don't be jealous! Hehe.
I had been putting off telling friends back in sunny old Brunei and freezing cold United Kingdom about this incident. It was soooo embarrassing. The Bruneian friends in the same school as me have been laughing about it non-stop for two weeks anyway, so it's better for me to tell you all than suffer another major embarrassment.
OK, the answer to the question above. Yeah, I am. But not in a teary-whiny way like the others. First thing I miss, though, is the strong sunrays back in Brunei. Some people close to me know I have a weird obsession of standing under the hottest days. I miss those days (laughs).
After spending a week and two days in UK, I slept-walked. My room mate Izzah Hani told me I was sleeping on my bed, then suddenly I got up, eyes still closed and muttering something in Chinese. I started walking towards the door and Hani (scared outta her wits, of course) got up from her bed and tried to wake me up, but I woke up just then. It was sooo freaking embarrassing. That was the first time I sleep-walk, in my entire life. I was dreaming that I was in my room and my parents were calling me, and the Chinese I muttered, translated, was "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming. Don't be so naggy."
Homesick, no? Whatever. I want you guys to know *wagging a finger at your nose* that I was and am the most composed L6 Bruneian in The Godolphin School. I do miss my mom's cooking and all, but then, it's something I can still look forward to when I go back to Brunei this coming Summer Break. So there.
I guess this is the punishment for lazy pengiuns here... UK penguins are so harsh, koala-kun... *sob*
Anyways, I thought I'll post something here, so no one will accuse me of 'abandoning' my blog. I haven't, by the way.
My school is called The Godolphin School. It's a bit like how STPRI used to be, Form 1 to Form 6. Except they call it first year, second year, third year, forth year, fifth year, and surprise surprise, it ain't sixth year (sounds weird by the way) but Sixth Form. I guess that's meant to sound more mature. Hahax.
These are some photos I took on the first weekend I was at my new college...
Dreamy, no? This is the famous cathedral in Salisbury...
A closer shot
Yeah, the cathedral is quite close to the school... a 5-10 minutes walk, actually. I along with the other Bruneians also went into this cathedral for Sunday Prayers, since they can't excuse themselves from going. It's compulsory. Oh well, this IS a Christian school.
We then went pass the Cathedral to the Salisbury Museum. Photos taken in the museum...

So that's for now... more pictures coming up soon! (That is, if I have the time & patience to blog and upload these photos...)
