I took this magazine and to my dismay Twlight is showing on 19th December here! Arrgghh!
I know I hadn't been taking my picture for quite some time so here we go...!
...my hair is browning...and maybe because of the light my skin is soooo white, whiter then it really is haha. The picture is taken in the dining hall of Brunei Hall, and I was wearing earphones at that time to drown out the dins.
Yesterday when I was working on my Chemistry homework Wafi, senior and ex-MS, came along. As always, he disrupted my concentration. Sigh. Brunei Hall is so not the place to study.
After messing around with my language in the Chemistry essay I had written *who does he think he is!*, he asked if I want to see a film with him. Silly, really, because I didn't realise I was the only one asked out by him. I agreed. Mainly because it was Quantum of Solace we were watching.
After grabbing my handbag and hoody, we set off for Bayswater, where the nearest Odeon is. But before that, he offered to belanja me ice-cream. I thought, heck, it's freezing and you want to eat ice-cream?! After several moments of resisting his puppy eyes, I gave in. Only because he said he was paying. He got me strawberry ice-cream and himself triple chocolate ice-cream. What the...? Inconsiderate.
Anyway after paying for the ice-cream he rushed off to Paddington tube station and topped-up his Oyster card. He would had gotten on the bus if I had not "Hey Wafi, aren't you forgetting something? The ice-cream, for example?" He yelled an "OH NO!" *while attracting unnecessary attention in the process* and rushed off to Burger King, returning with the almost-forgotten ice-cream. I laughed at him for his forgetfulness and we got onto the bus.
When we arrived at Odeon, Wafi said he was broke. I give him a freaking-are-you-kidding-me look and paid for the two of us. The lady serving us was trying not to laugh as I paid, Wafi hovering behind me, embarrassed. We went in and he offered to buy some popcorn, but I very gently *sarcastic* declined. If you call smacking his head gentle that is, him being so thick-skinned and all.
Once inside I began to feel uneasy. You may not believe me but that was the first time I went to the film with a guy. And the fact that James Bond films are known for having X scenes doesn't comfort me one bit. I sat two seats away from him but he gave me the puppy eyes again (don't freaking ask me how he did it!) and I finally but reluctantly sat beside him, not feeling one bit safe.
Finally the film started. I enjoyed the film so, whooping, ohhing and ahhing at the right places. I especially love the fire part. Once the film ended we boarded the bus back to Paddington. It was half past seven, night time.
After that I realised I need dinner inside me, and so, warring with my pride, I asked Wafi to accompany me to Chicken Spot. London is not a safe place at night for a girl. He agreed and yeah, basically he had no brain, loving being frozen in and out.
