updates of a part2er

 @ Sunday, 28 February 2010

Just a quick notice first to let you guys know all posts related to K-pop will now be moved to The Lollidella ^^ So any posts to do with Rain and MBLAQ and YGE artists will now be posted there.

Sorry for the lack of proper updates, but I have been doing proper studying and catching up with school work so there's almost no time. I don't even update my Twitter properly anymore =(

I'm eating instant noodles right now because I missed the delicious Sunday brunch because my roommate decided to be mean and not wake me up. Why I can't wake up in the first place was partly her fault.

To be fair I feel more and more miserable sharing a room with her but I can't back out like I did last time because it's just not fair to her. I mean, a person has a certain level of tolerance and mine for her is just exhausted. I just have to tolerate the weeks before Easter holidays and not erupt on her before then. Sigh.

My mood right now is Look Only At Me, Part 2. Since I am also addicted to Lollipop 2 (more info here), so I might as well modify partner into part2er. Ha ha.

I gotta go now. More updates when I'm not so busy!

Rewind the years...

 @ Thursday, 18 February 2010

...back to 2002.

And see who this was!

Yes, that's me. Blessing my good memory, I can even tell I was reading an Enid Blyton book at that time, and the book in front of me is titled The House By The Sea. If I looked grumpy, that was probably for warding off any potential disturbers.

Can you tell which one was me?

I can hardly recognise myself, I don't know how my ex-classmates can recognise me after so long. And yes, bangs do bring out the worst in me I guess.

Maybe I should try getting bangs again.

The (first?) UK YUI-Lover outing

 @ Monday, 15 February 2010

After one month of chatting on the YUI-Lover Forum, MonkOfWar, pandas who read this scares me (or just pandas) and me, xinping2016, met up outside the busy Leicester Square tube station on a wet 14th February, which this year is both Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day.

The three of us went to the Japan Centre for dinner. MonkOfWar told us about his guitars, and his cover attempts, and we talked about ourselves for a bit, and discussed which are her best A-side songs. After dinner, MonkOfWar got a waiter to take a picture of us three YLs. I still remember her name is Tsubasa. We must had looked quite weird, MonkOfWar looked like a father of both me and pandas. A few Hong Kong people sitting to my left kept giving us funny looks because we look Chinese but kept conversing in English (laughs).

After a bit of dilemma with splitting the bill (we ended up paying unequally, with me paying the least), we walked around the Leicester Square area for a bit before settling for ice-cream at McDonalds. There we talked about various things, from Terminator to Naruto to Star Wars.

Come 9-ish PM, we decided to call the outing to an end. We parted at the Leicester Square tube station, MonkOfWar and pandas went on the Northern Line while I went on the Picadilly Line.

On the way back home, YUI's voice accompanied me:

Tari nai kinou ni obore
Yume ni kaita kyou
Soro wa nakute mo yeah yeah

Yoakemae no matataku hoshi wa
Kiete itta no?
Asu he itta no?

Tomorrow never knows
It’s happy line

Earth Hour 2010

 @

After writing a flaming entry on my blog last year about my dearest countrymen's lack of concern about climate change, I decide there is no excuse for them this time because I will make sure they know about Earth Hour early, and really go about switching off the lights.

Here's everything you need to know about Earth Hour, so you can throw your ignorance excuse out the window RIGHT NOW. I insist, and I shall presist.

What is Earth Hour?
Earth Hour is a global call to action to every individual, every business and every community throughout the world. It is a call to stand up, to take responsibility, to get involved and lead the way towards a sustainable future. People across the world from all walks of life will turn off their lights and join together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.

Who organised this?
Earth Hour is organized by WWF. With almost 5 million supporters and a global network in over 100 countries, it’s one of the world's largest and most respected independent conservation organizations. WWF’s mission is to stop the degradation of the Earth's natural environment and build a future where people live in harmony with nature.

Why should I listen to you and switch off my lights for an hour? Like I am that jobless!
Earth Hour isn't about how jobless you are. It is about how much you care about the planet you are living on. If you don't take care of it, one day it's bound to take care of you very well, and it's not going to be a pretty sight when it does.

Earth Hour is something you should definitely consider joining if you are:

  1. buried in debts and loans, and is worrying about the exponentially growing digits on your electricity bill.
  2. someone who cares about the environment and your future generations of children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
  3. extremely rich and is looking for a chance to be snobby.
  4. extremely middle class but have an inflated pride.

Brief history of Earth Hour:
2007, Sydney, Australia:
2.2 million homes and businesses turned their lights off for one hour to make their stand against climate change.

2008:
More than 50 million people across 35 countries participated. Global landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, The CN Tower in Toronto, The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and Rome’s Colosseum; all stood in darkness.

March 2009:
Over 4000 cities in 88 countries officially switched off to pledge their support for the planet.

This year's Earth Hour is taking place on Saturday 27 March at 8.30PM. Totally won over and love the idea of saving the world? Sign up here.

Constellations in My Palm

 @ Friday, 12 February 2010

Constellations in My PalmSo I know this post is going to frustrate a lot of people, but I can't help it and I don't care anyway. I'm going to come clean and tell you this: I LOVE YAOI MANGAS!

Did I hear Jeslyn cheer? Yay!

So the manga that got my love for yaoi back is Tenohira no Seiza or Constellations in My Palm. It's so beautiful it makes me cry! I don't care what other people thinks of gays OK, I absolutely APPROVE (with two big, fat, thumbs ups).

However, I do think lesbians are a bit...wrong. Maybe if the tables were turned, and I was born a guy instead, I will have love yuri manga to bits.

Not wanting to spoil the manga for you by being over starry-eyed, I present you with the (official) description from MangaFox:

Enji is moving on to college and it turns out he’ll be living with his cousin Mizuho, who he hasn’t seen in seven years. Enji, once the younger cousin that Mizuho thought of as a cute little brother, is now a tall, handsome man practically oozing with cool. And yet, despite how close they used to be, Enji’s giving him the cold shoulder. Has Enji simply grown out of being Mizuho’s surrogate younger brother, or is he trying to hide his true feelings?

Feel a sudden urge to read it now? =D

BBC and 'drastic action'

 @ Saturday, 6 February 2010

I don't usually post up visits to whatever bla-bla-bla place, but this is special case to my special, special friends back in Brunei! Me miss you all!

So it was an impromptu decision, this visit to BBC. I just want to know how different BBC and RTB is, and what the hell, I already know the answer when I decided to go!

Left school in a coach at 10AM, arrived in front of BBC at 12PM, an hour too early in fact. Since the BBC building is just across from Westfield (humongous shopping centre, 20× bigger than The Mall), we pop over for a bit of window shopping. The 'we' in question is me and my dearest (distant) cousin Annabelle Leong.

So you can see the BBC logo behind her and it's prove I'm not lying. As we are distant cousins there are no resemblance at all, but I wish we do (her height her height her height!)

The BBC tour was very interesting, and I'm lazy to post up pictures as usual so stop hoping for them. As if I'm not using up a huge chunk of your bandwidth already!

Did you know that J.Lo was (and probably still is) a snob? Well, she was according to the guy at BBC anyway. The BBC building is shaped like a question mark (?) and they have this what-used-to-be-a-fountain-until-we-turned-off-the-water-because-the-sound-of-water-make-everyone-wants-to-go-to-the-bathroom thingy in the middle.

It was an experience I rate ten out of ten, compared to the visit to RTB (three out of ten, EPIC FAIL! The only good thing coming out of visiting RTB was full tummy.)

This part of the post is password protected. To continue reading, please login to The YUI Fanatic.

I'm off!

Why UCAS is in my good books today.

 @ Thursday, 4 February 2010

You are so NOT going to believe this but! But! BUT! I received another offer again! Yes, do a double take! Follow me!

I! Receive! Another! Offer!

Now, we celebrate! * SunSet Glow by BIGBANG plays in the background *

Anyway! The third offer today is from the University of Exeter, and they are offering me ABB. Don't be jealous people!

I'm gonna make Mrs Dunning's eyes pop out tomorrow with this news. She's my group tutor. It will (serve her right) for telling me the I-used-to-have-a-student-who-still-didn't-receive-even-one-offer-at-the-end-of-March sob story.

I'm off, people!

Guess what?

 @

So I am getting increasingly desperate for an offer because I haven't heard from UCAS since Durham's offer last month. So desperate, in fact, I won't mind getting rejected as long as I have an email from UCAS sitting in my inbox!

I was just talking to Irene, one of my juniors, about this last night. I know I should be grateful for the offer from Durham, but there's this uncanny fear that I won't be able to meet Durham's already low offer of AAC (the prospectus mention AAB so I really should thank my lucky stars).

My morning today was full with lessons, C4 Maths first thing, then Chemistry (revising Module 2 because Dr Thrower insisted) and lastly A2 Human Geography. After a lunch of creamy pork stuff (it was OK) and talked with Aini and Erna for a bit, I decided I need to check my email and act more like the sad thing I am turning into.

(I have frees in the afternoon today – envy me!)

Started up my laptop, connected to internet, opened up Google Chrome...got a glimpse of The Email, then my laptop shut down by itself!

(a string of under-the-breath curses followed the laptop's nonchalant decision to shut itself down)

Reboot my laptop again, slightly worried about the clicking noise coming from it, reconnect to the internet, reopened Google Chrome...

THERE IT IS. THE EMAIL.

UCAS has finally emailed me, informing me of "a change in status" in my UCAS application. No time to be over the moon. Opened up the UCAS track page and, blood pounding in my ears, logged in. Got a prompt to enter my passport details. Filled in the form without hesitation and clicked on choices when I was done.

Oh my lucky stars.

Will you believe me if I tell you this? I received two conditional offers! Both from Leicester, which is cheating a bit, but still two offers! Woohoo!

Both ask for BBB and English Language Qualification.

Suddenly I am no longer depressed and I started singing a World Cup song from thousands of years ago: Celebrate the Day. It didn't matter I don't remember any of its lyrics apart from Celebrate the day, the day, the day~~~. I was overjoyed OK!

So now I have three offers. Another two to go, and hopefully I won't have long to wait for them!

Sing with me! Celebrate the day, the day, the day~~~

how my evil plans to save the world are foiled

 @ Wednesday, 3 February 2010

So last week I bumped into Mrs Nicholls and she told me in a grave tone:
Jolene, I'm sorry to say this but your story didn't get through.
My response was a disappointed "oh".

She then told me there are apparently over 2000 entries this year and that's why my darkish story was left on the shelf.

Pondering this later, I decided (to make myself feel better) the judges must have found my story too awesome to be given a prize. Haha.

PayPal not only mess it up, but mess it up big time. So if you are a kind soul who read my blog and love it and try to donate, you'll just be freaking directed to the PayPal website.

So in one just swift motion they are
  1. depriving me of unstable income,
  2. preventing any kind soul from donating and
  3. freaking happy at their 'achievement'

So I decided to agree with whoever saying PayPal is the worst, ever.

So me and Ann have this problem rooming together, and deciding to take drastic action as usual, I was literally kicked out of my own room.

(OK, so it wasn't really that drastic and I wasn't kicked out, but voluntarily move out.)

My new room is small but relatively warm and is potentially the best place in Jerred House for breeding butterflies in the stomach.

Only problem now is I don't want to move back to my old room, because I love the idea of having butterflies in my stomach. Haha.

I can't translate the titles so you just have to take my word for it. Haha.

No! Blogger is shutting down FTP!

 @ Tuesday, 2 February 2010

So I was just surfing happily and then I received an email. Its subject line sent me to hell, back again, and to hell once more.

Important: Changes to Blogger FTP Service

Please don't tell me it's what I'm thinking. Please don't tell me it's what I'm thinking. Please don't tell me–

MY NIGHTMARE HAS CAME TRUE.

Read for yourself the damned email from Blogger.

Dear FTP user:

You are receiving this e-mail because one or more of your blogs at Blogger.com are set up to publish via FTP. We recently announced a planned shut-down of FTP support on Blogger Buzz (the official Blogger blog), and wanted to make sure you saw the announcement. We will be following up with more information via e-mail in the weeks ahead, and regularly updating a blog dedicated to this service shut-down here: http://blogger-ftp.blogspot.com/.

The full text of the announcement at Blogger Buzz follows.
Last May, we discussed a number of challenges facing Blogger users who relied on FTP to publish their blogs. FTP remains a significant drain on our ability to improve Blogger: only .5% of active blogs are published via FTP – yet the percentage of our engineering resources devoted to supporting FTP vastly exceeds that. On top of this, critical infrastructure that our FTP support relies on at Google will soon become unavailable, which would require that we completely rewrite the code that handles our FTP processing.

Three years ago we launched Custom Domains to give users the simplicity of Blogger, the scalability of Google hosting, and the flexibility of hosting your blog at your own URL. Last year's post discussed the advantages of custom domains over FTP and addressed a number of reasons users have continued to use FTP publishing. (If you're interested in reading more about Custom Domains, our Help Center has a good overview of how to use them on your blog.) In evaluating the investment needed to continue supporting FTP, we have decided that we could not justify diverting further engineering resources away from building new features for all users.

For that reason, we are announcing today that we will no longer support FTP publishing in Blogger after March 26, 2010. We realize that this will not necessarily be welcome news for some users, and we are committed to making the transition as seamless as possible. To that end:
  • We are building a migration tool that will walk users through a migration from their current URL to a Blogger-managed URL (either a Custom Domain or a Blogspot URL) that will be available to all users the week of February 22. This tool will handle redirecting traffic from the old URL to the new URL, and will handle the vast majority of situations.
  • We will be providing a dedicated blog and help documentation
  • Blogger team members will also be available to answer questions on the forum, comments on the blog, and in a few scheduled conference calls once the tool is released.

We have a number of big releases planned in 2010. While we recognize that this decision will frustrate some users, we look forward to showing you the many great things on the way. Thanks for using Blogger.

Regards,
Rick Klau
Blogger Product Manager
Google
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
Mountain View, CA 94043

This e-mail is being sent to notify you of important changes to your Blogger account.

Worst news I ever received on the www world, ever. (and how ironic is this – I am publishing this post via FTP)

I don't want to try Custom Domain because it totally mess up my blog the last time I tried. DNS is not something you can mess with just like that. And my blog was down for one whole week! So desperate at that time, I thought I have lost my blog forever. I also forced my Malaysian online friend to keep checking for me. IT'S A NIGHTMARISH EXPERIENCE.

But who am I to go against a giant like Google?

So I'm going to try this migration tool when it came out, and if I'm not happy or just mad desperate I'll move everything out. Only problem is, where to?

Can't I use the brownie points I score with Google to stay with FTP...?

OK, I know I haven't been a blogger for that long, only for 3 years but still, it's three years! And I have tried like other blogging platforms but I just can't think of using them because I (i) am stubborn; (ii) devoted to Google and (iii) think other blogging platform SUCKS.

I don't think I can sleep tonight, people.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

my hystrics-filled 'hiatus period' PART 2

 @

08.01.2010 - emptiness in my heart

TOPIC 01: LOOK ONLY AT ME, PART2
This song by G-Dragon is my new favourite. The lyrics are so heartbreakingly beautiful, I can't help but cry when I watch this video. I don't want G-Dragon to go to jail~ (wails)

I don't know, I lost faith in him sometimes. VIPs told me AllKPop is biased, full of haters, bla-bla, but am I that easily influenced? I want him back on scene. To stand tall and proud and declare to Korea, to the whole world, he has done nothing wrong.

But...I don't know. I really want to believe in him. I really want to be like one of those fearless DCGD members and stand by him. I'm so confused. So when I found this video on YouTube and watch it...I feel...ashamed. I don't even think ashamed is the right word to describe what I feel.

I'm OK now. I will stand by G-Dragon, even if he go to jail. Because, as another GDfan told me, support is all he needs.

TOPIC 02: BoA, YOU ARE JUST NOT MEANT TO BE
This is not trying to offend BoA or her fans, I mean, I am her fan also. It's not because I know G-Dragon is her fan, but I have listened to BoA since her debut, so I have literally been her fan from the very beginning.

As you will soon see in the picture below, the BoA MOTO poster, which also happens to be my favourite BoA poster, had unattached itself from the wall. This had happened too many times for me to count, and I am fed up with waking up in the middle of the night to put it back up after hearing a loud ripping sound.

Favourite poster or not, it's just not meant to be stuck on my wall. I'm taking it down today and rolling it up into one of my poster tubes.

TOPIC 03: YUI IN DETROIT METAL CITY?
When I first saw this thread on YUI-Lover Forum, my initial reaction was WHAT?!

Turns out I shouldn't have worried. (I was imagining YUI performing on the same stage with Krauser II...scary thought) Another YUI fanatic, michelle_upm, had been very observant to notice YUI's I Loved Yesterday promo poster in a scene from DMC the Movie.

DMC is not recommended for minors (i.e. below 18), as it has explicit content and death metal is not exactly the kind of music genre you want to expose children to.

Find out more on YUI-Lover Forum.

TOPIC 04: tYUIf IS ON THE SAME LIST AS BIGBANG & XIAXUE?
I know this is only one person (NANA, thank you!) but this means a lot to me, the one and only webmistress of The YUI Fanatic (or tYUIf in short).

I have been running this website/blog for over three years, and seeing it turning up first on the list on search engines, watching people from other countries visiting tYUIf for information is a very incredible feeling.

Maybe there are many others out there linking to me, I don't know, but still I want to say a big thank you to my visitors. Without you guys, tYUIf will not stand as tall as it is today. ^^

09.01.2010 - Mass! Download!

TOPIC 01: YUI'S ALBUM RUMOURS

So this has been circulating on YUI-Lover Forum pretty much all the time since December, but I didn't post it up because. They. Are. Just. Rumours. Frequent (and observant) visitors will notice I have added it to my little section of YUI discography on the About page. I did mark it as a rumour, though.

Until a new album is confirmed by Sony Music Japan, I will not say anything further on this matter. I'll of course keep you guys posted.

TOPIC 02: HISASHI KONDO DIARY (07.01.2010) translation
Many credits go to Kagesou and mrsean!

'Who said your whole life is affected by your teenage times?'

When I try to move forward without thinking,
some people advised me that
'balancing things in life is important'
and 'there's no point if you damage your body from doing what you want'
I'm sure you have had people say that to you before too.

Of course,

That is correct

We all know that,
but in life,
sometimes,
you just want to do things,
knowing you're just going to ruin yourself
trying to accomplish your dreams
come before taking care of yourself
I'm sure you've experienced that.
If you're studying to get into a good university
right now
might be this time for you.

Today, I opened this article
saying
'Who said your whole life is affected by your teenage times?'
Of course you have to study, but friends, activities, the person you like, you want to challenge new things which might open new paths in life
and you hear yourself
screaming to tell you to do these things
'Even when you think you're rushing
doesn't matter, just keep going
just take everything you have and go for it
cause if you cant do that, then its all a lie.'

I think thats the message YUI wants to tell all of us
The sound of the last single, "It's All Too Much" had the image of the movie mixed with guitar rock!!
This time, the acoustic guitar is strumming 16th notes throughout the song
and notice the electric guitar only appears in the main riff and the chorus.
As far as having a vocal melody in the intro, it has been missing since "Merry-Go-Round" had the working title "Harajuku Song".
At any rate, I feel this new song was able to combine the image of the early days with the new one. (old YUI + new YUI)

And the great thing about YUI is, with the exception of the second half of the verse and the bridge, even though the basic chord progression stays the same, she has the ability to write melodies that don't give you that feeling.
I really respect that!
The band members for this recording recording were the well-known Odakura Yuu!! The rhythm section of Backy and Imamura Mai graciously joined us.

1) YUI recording acoustic guitar

The recording was very enjoyable, and turned out great. Thank you very much!

The B-side recording, 'Muffler' is about a relationship from long ago, perhaps having fallen in love and the feeling of a time passing by this friend, who is wearing an unfamiliar muffler...
It's winter, with New Year's and so on, I feel is a season for remembering (reminiscing about) your hometown (friends, family, etc)
After working on the song for a bit, I asked the famous northa+, whom I have known for 20 years, to help me arrange the song.
staying in the studio for a long time, talking on the phone really late at night, its a weird relationship, but I can really rely on her.
After that, she dove into the song, layering the chorus, and YUI's idea began to blossom...
also, working well with Yahagicchi, there was a wonderful atmosphere being created.

Finally, "It's All Too Much ~Acoustic Version~"
I think it has a very different feel than the original song, and seems like you're listening it from another angle. Even the opening electric guitar riff from the single was played by another acoustic guitar, with the help of Kuro-chan. We tried to make this using 100% acoustic guitar.
Please take a listen to this song, as well!

All three songs mixed by Tamanoi-kun!
We requested Director Kubo do the MV.

Pretty soon you should be hearing these songs starting to be broadcast, right?
Thank you very much.

Hisashi Kondo

oh and in Icchi☆-san's "Ai-no-aru" (There is Love) project series,
This time, "Original Mug"
While drinking something warm...
Let's get through this winter.

dewa

TOPIC 03: I GOT AN OFFER FROM DURHAM!
Just realised I haven't post this up on my blog. I am offered a place in the University of Durham! This actually happened on the 4th, so it's been like almost a week hahaha. Sorry guys, it just totally slipped my mind.

Well, the thing is I was talking to Amy Toh over the phone just now, because she was rejected by the University of Cambridge. From there we ended up talking about really weird stuff ranging from FaceBook to marrying the WuChun who I hate will all my life. OK, that was random.

Durham is offering me AAC, C for Geography which make me thank all my lucky, lucky stars. I'm still waiting, and hoping for offers from University of Leicester though. I really want to go there!

Lemme sing my little anthem again...
Offers, offers, where art thou offers?

11.01.2010 - damn sleet, I want snow!

TOPIC 01: HISASHI KONDO DIARY (10.01.2010) translation

Credits to Fujii Ituski for the translation!

A pleasantly cool sensation!!

Today, the sample for ⌈GLORIA⌋ arrived!!

Limited edition and regular edition!!

Icchi☆ Thank you!!
It's almost time eh!!

Which reminds me!!

My Dokutsubo blog post on 7th January,
the GLORIA/YUI report one,

Seems like people who are reading through their cellphones
have been saying that there are too many pages.

I'm sorry?

I don't really know what's the cause of it.

Even though everyone took the trouble to visit Dokutsubo.

I feel like printing out the pages and personally mail them to everyone...

Also, for the many message mails and New Year Greetings,
thank you very much!

And there were a lot of questions being asked as well.

I'll just answer one of them quickly!!

☆ Regarding the album release time frame

Since I have not talked about it in detail with YUI,
nor Boss, nor Icchi☆

So I can’t answer that too specifically.

Currently, we're still undergoing pre-production,
The song creation process.

(but honestly, it's like that throughout the year)

We're still in the state of catching up with everything
Up till the recording process.

But no matter how rushing it is,
I believe there is enough time till the goods have to be delivered.

Beyond this point, it will take at least 3 months
but within this 1 year...

so
...can everyone accept this kind of answer?

"1 week after GLORIA’s release,
an official notice about the album!!"
I can tell you for sure that there would NOT be something like that...

I'm sorry.

Also, questions about tour and such
Somehow...
Even if you ask me...

So, the real information,
I'm sure will be announced officially.
Please wait for it patiently alright.

HISASHI KONDO

Was that too serious?
Or a question that makes you laugh?

Questions on stuff that are difficult to talk about,
There are quite a lot of them here for the past few days

"How can I debut as an artist?"
Surprisingly, there are quite a lot of questions like this too.

About this,
First thing you can try is by sending Icchi☆san a demo tape I suppose.

so
...can everyone accept this kind of answer?

13.01.2010 - Snow! Albeit only a little but still snow!

TOPIC 01: LISTEN TO ME
• I am so awesomely single, it is depressing.
• I am so against the idea of being in a relationship with any guy other than Jiyong oppa, it is depressing.
• I am so damn depressing, it is depressing.
• I don't need depression when I have my Jiyong oppa, but I still feel depressed.
• Relationship can't be a good thing unless it is with Jiyong oppa, and that seems kinda depressing too.

...

...

...

I really need those damn remedies, if they ever exist.

TOPIC 02: ...AND I STILL HAVEN'T FINISH SAYING CONGRATULATIONS!
I am dumbfounded. (This topic is related to the first topic.)

I just, yes, just found out Leon Chua and Jolyn Sim, both my partners-in-crime during primary 5, USED TO BE TOGETHER.

A bit of explanation is needed here. I wasn't exactly quiet and innocent and all that during my primary school years, and primary five was my best year in primary school despite being labelled the most lazy person in class for refusing to do any work during class.

My so-called partners-in-crime had some bad, but unique traits of their own too. Leon used to be a crybaby. Jolyn (who literally shared the same name as me, but many years ago we were sworn enemies) did everything wrong. She got onto the wrong side of me, which is why we used to be sworn enemies.

Anyway. It was a short period of time but they were together. I'm not saying it's unfair or whatnot, I'm not asking Leon to be my boyfriend, thank you very much (I still can't get crybaby Leon out of my head), I'm not saying they can't be together.

Sorry for abruptly cutting you off back there. It's password-protected to prevent any possible heart attack.

And yes. Sadly I am currently consumed with one of the seven sins now.

14.01.2010 - he heard me! *squeal*

I'm going to brag for a bit now, so GDfan/GDaddict can skip the next paragraph, if you please.

Hubbie heard me! He heard me he heard me he heard me~! I'm happy happy happy again. So very very very happy! I feel like singing GARA GARA GO! all day, lalalalala! BIGBANG rocks the night, oh eh oh~ (GD's voice is so damn sexy), listening to my mp3 rip of Music Station and SBS Gayo Daejun! OK, crazy mood over, people!

G-Dragon updated his Me2DAY at last, after a torturing thirty-nine days! He posted up a picture of a mountain, and teased us about BIGSHOW 2010. It! Is! A! Cause! For! Celebration! Ah, I'm getting dizzy from all the excitement. Ann, forgive me! It's G-Dragon's mini concert in room 5 of Jerred House tonight, like it or not!

Speaking of which, my Shine A Light badges came today! I pinned the I GD one onto my pencil case, announcing to anyone who will care Jiyong is mine mine mine, because he's just so damn fine~ Listening to Butterfly, I just want to melt whenever I hear this song!

Woo~ Whee!

15.01.2010 - Shout to the world in your wonderful voice SHINE A LIGHT!
The rest of my Shine A Light mercs arrived today! The T-shirt, 5 pieces photos and pamphlet! I love all of them!

The photos are going onto the wall once I figured out how to minimise damage to them by blue tack, the T-shirt is going onto my hangers (with the white NII Qualified Heart Campaign shirt) and the pamphlet is going to be so love loved LOVE! Lovely photos of Jiyong inside ^^

There was another entry on Jiyong's Me2DAY, but it was posted by playful SeungRi. I love his Strong Baby days, because Jiyong looked so cool when he perform with his makanae.

[SeungRi] We are BIGBANG~ BANG~ BANG~ BANG~!

my hystrics-filled 'hiatus period' PART 1

 @

06.01.2010 - today is damn bitter-sweet

TOPIC 01: SNOW!!!
I woke up and went about my business without realising it has SNOWED until I went down for breakfast. I was wearing slippers. How how how suitable for walking in the snow. It was a miracle I didn't fall over at all.

Actually I want to say I am possibly the most stable person when it comes to walking in snow. Haha. More about this in a bit.

So when I got back from breakfast, it was still snowing. Bless the whatever factors that make this weather condition possible. I forgot what the factors are.

Of course, Pingu is the happiest at the snowing!

Pingu: You! Yes, you. Howcome you didn't tell me it's snowing outside one hah? I want you to take a picture of me at the window! Now!

So rude one ah this stuffed penguin? I had half a mind to open a window and throw it out. Not surprisingly, she demanded I told no one the above picture was taken at the window. She didn't even want to be let out into her native weather conditions. Such a hypocrite.

Some shots of how winterly my school suddenly looked:

After school Ann and I went to town. Our first stop was the Salisbury Cathedral. It was my idea OK. I thought the cathedral might look magical covered in snow or something, but was a bit disappointed. On the way to town:

Pictures of the cathedral on a snow day's glory:

TOPIC 02: G-DRAGON IS NOT GOING TO JAIL
Help me. AllKPop had confirmed my worst worst WORST fear. My hubbie is possibly going to JAIL for doing something tons of singers had done before.

I suddenly hold a grudge against J.Y. Park. Forget he was Rain's producer and Rain has a lot of respect for him bla-bla-bla. J.Y. Park did NOT go to jail for what he did, which was similar to what my hubbie did. SO TO HELL ALL HATERS, G-DRAGON IS NOT GOING TO JAIL.

TOPIC 03: YUI'S ⌈Muffler⌋ IS A GREAT 'CONCENTRATION MUSIC'
YUI is a goddess. Her new single ⌈GLORIA⌋, due out this coming 20th, is packed full of everything inspirational. If GLORIA is motivating, Muffler is concentrating.

Unlike what most YUILovers suspect at first, Muffler does not sound sad but instead sound calming. Great as background music for studying and driving (as another YUILover stated).

If you haven't listen to Muffler yet, fret not. The song playing when you arrived on this page is - yes - none other than Muffler. I love this song to bits. You might also want to check out this post for the lyrics and the download links.

TOPIC 04: GET A CHANCE TO WIN ⌈GLORIA⌋ MUGS...
...when you buy the first-press limited edition of ⌈GLORIA⌋.

These ⌈GLORIA⌋ mugs are adorable and unveiled on the YUI Staff Diary today. Even though I am famous for openly hating the oh-so-girly-I-am-blinded PINK colour (plus it clashes with my new layout), it looks great on the ⌈GLORIA⌋ mug!

I want the blue one! ^^ More details about the ⌈GLORIA⌋ mugs and how to win them on YUI-Lover.

TOPIC 05: G-DRAGON SHINE A LIGHT CONCERT MERCS
I totally recommend buying from either Korean eBay seller smile-spoon or DVDheaven. Here are the links to smile-spoon's eBay shop and DVDheaven so what are you G-Dragon fangirls waiting for?

When mine arrived (yes I've already preorder them) I will wear the I ♥ GD badge all the time to show my support for hubbie. And on a last note...

...G-DRAGON IS NOT GOING TO JAIL (TOPIC 06)
He is totally NOT going to jail. If he really is going to jail then I am going to set up an anti-JYP club. Even though I love Wonder Girls. I am serious.

07.01.2010 - still not a good day

TOPIC 01: NOT SNOWING
It didn't snow today, and the snow from yesterday had turned into rock. Hard. Ice. Overnight. It's wet and slushy everywhere. I want it to snow more. Was taking more pictures of the snow-topped buildings when I noticed something at the first floor window of the science block.

A Bunsen burner was on and burning with NO ONE IN SIGHT. The lab in question is Mr Brown's. What the gdlmdsfrbitrmj is dearest Mr Brown thinking?! He's not going soft in the head, right?

TOPIC 02: G-DRAGON IS NOT GOING TO JAIL

TOPIC 03: G-DRAGON IS NOT GOING TO JAIL

TOPIC 04: G-DRAGON IS NOT GOING TO JAIL

(she is totally convinced if she post this sentence up 20 times in 5 days he will not go to jail)

TOPIC 05: G-DRAGON DID NOT DRY-HUMP AIMEE LUCAS
My hubbie is not an irresponsible person. He will never cheat on me. Therefore, he DID NOT dry-hump Aimee Lucas. Although that's what haters and netizens like to think. He was just holding her OK!

AND totally no way he was kissing her, either. SHOCKIMPULSE of AllKPop, get your facts right! AND G-DRAGON IS NOT GOING TO JAIL.

TOPIC 06: G-DRAGON IS NOT NOT NOT GOING TO JAIL

TOPIC 07: G-DRAGON IS NOT NOT NOT GOING TO JAIL

TOPIC 08: G-DRAGON IS NOT NOT NOT GOING TO JAIL

TOPIC 09: 2NE1 IS LEADING THE VOTE...
...on AllKPop for Best Rookie Girl Group of 2009.

Congrants in advance 2NE1!
